7.2 Timer Interrupt

It is possible to enable the Timer Interrupt by

software control.The Timer can be programmed to

generate an Interrupt request until the end of the

count or when there is an external TSTART signal.

The Timer can generate programmable Interrupts

in to 4 different modes:

Interrupt mode 1: Interrupt on counter Stop.

Interrupt mode 2: Interrupt on Rising Edge of

TIMEROUT.

Interrupt mode 3: Interrupt on Falling Edge of

TIMEROUT.

Interrupt mode 4: Interrupt on both edges of

TIMEROUT.

In order to program the interrupt mode INTSL, INTF

and INTR bits of the REG_CONF7 must be set

following the indications shown in the Table7.1.The

Timer interrupt can be used to exit the MCU from

the WAIT mode.

7.3 Timer Configuration

The Timer configuration needs to set 4 registers of

the Configuration Register Bench.

CONF_REG4:

TMLSB contains the less significative bits of the

Prescaler starting value.

CONF_REG5:

TMMSB contains the more significative bits of the

Prescaler starting value
