The content of B is not changed. This mnemonic is implemented by the LEAY B,Y instruction. The LEAY instruction allows A, B, D, or a constant to be added to Y. For compatibility with the M68HC11, the mnemonic ABY is translated into the LEAY B,Y instruction by the assembler.
