20.3 Serial PROM Mode Setting

20.3.4 Activating the Serial PROM Mode

The following is a procedure to activate the serial PROM mode. " Figure 20-4 Serial PROM Mode Timing "

shows a serial PROM mode timing.

1. Supply power to the VDD pin.

2. Set the RESET pin to low.

3. Set the TEST pin and BOOT/RXD1 pins to high.

4. Wait until the power supply and clock oscillation stabilize.

5. Set the RESET pin to high.

6. Input the matching data (5AH) to the BOOT/RXD1 pin after setup sequence. For details of the setup

timing, refer to " 20.15 UART Timing ".
