PrB | Page 146 of 148 DETERMINING THE VERSION OF THE ADE5166/ADE5169/ADE5566/ADE5569 Each ADE5166/ADE5169/ADE5566/ADE5569 holds in its internal flash registers a value that defines its version. This value helps to determine if users have the latest version of the part. To access this value, the following procedure can be followed: 1. Launch HyperTerminal with a 9600 baud rate. 2. Put the part in serial download mode by first holding SDEN to logic low then resetting the part. 3. Hold the SDEN pin. 4. Press and release the RESET pin. 5. A string should appear on the HyperTerminal containing the part name an d version number. |
