Introduction

The Lite Timer can be used for general-purpose timing functions. It is based on two free-

running 8-bit upcounters, an 8-bit input capture register.

15.2

Main features

■ Real-time clock

– One 8-bit upcounter 1 ms or 2 ms timebase period (@ 8 MHz fOSC2)

– One 8-bit upcounter with autoreload and programmable timebase period from 4 µs to

1.024 ms in 4 µs increments (@ 8 MHz fOSC2)

– 2 Maskable timebase interrupts

■ Input Capture

– 8-bit input capture register (LTICR)

– Maskable interrupt with wakeup from Halt mode capability
